We Wait

The PET scan , the CAT scan and the brain MRI are done.  It is so very frustrating to have some medical background and know that results are available to anyone in the medical community but we must wait 10 more days to know what those results may be.  A test of patience and an opportunity for prayer.  God is able to hold us both in one hand and keep us during this difficult time.  [Sometimes you just have to say that over and over and over.]

Romans 5:2-4

Amplified Bible (AMP)
2Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God's favor) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.
3Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.
4And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation

But the old adage....easier said than done rings true as well!

SOOOOOO in the meantime today, while Gene lies about and maybe finds the time and umph to put some screws into the porch steps I will go work out at the YMCA and possibly mentor a new homeschooling mom [if I hear back from her before I depart.]  As of last night it sounded like she would like to talk face to face this morning and since that is a topic I LOVE to discuss it would help me so much!  Anyone else need to talk about homeschooling?

I choose to be [whether I feel it or not] thankful....every....day.
