A Belly Laugh --just when we needed it

Today I am thankful for my husband's co-workers.  They sent him a funny get well card they had all signed but then one smart-alack added a "special" note from [a-hem] "Bill Clinton" mentioning Gene being his best supporter.  If you understood how seriously Gene takes politics or how staunchly conservative his beliefs,  you would see why only a smart-alack  would risk such signage.  Oh but it made him LAUGH.  Until this type of serious illness hits you to not fully appreciate the scripture Proverbs 15:13..A merry heart does good like a medicine but a broken spirit dries up the bones.
