Hard times

So today is one of those days when it is hard to find something to be thankful for.  I will be thankful that the sophisticated equipment available in today's technology certainly tells information beyond the scope of the imagination.

We will see the melanoma doctor for the second time tomorrow at 2pm and hope to drive home afterwards.  there are some possibilities that may change that picture but I will be disconnecting the computer early in the morning to pack the car for the potential of driving home from Greenspring Station.  We will clear ourselves of this hostel and yet try to leave the possibility of returning if we need to.  I hate a lack of concrete plan so that too is difficult.

Pray for us tonight.

That we be comforted by the Holy Spirit
That we get the best information available from the doctor so that the best for Gene decisions can be made.
That we continue to give God control of this whole mess!  I have said several times, God is not in shock nor surprised by these events.  He has known Gene [and me...and you too] from the moment of our conception and He sees us into eternity.  Time does not hold God captive.  He has a purpose for the walk we walk and we want to be found faithful of trusting Him and yet not being complacent.  We desire to build faith in ourselves and in the others God brings us into contact with.

We are so grateful for the care by the body of Christ.
Last radiation tomorrow and thus Gene gets to hit the gong in the department that everyone gets to bong when they get done!

God said:
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire;
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the Lord your God
Isaiah 43:2-3

I am praying and I know that you, Gene, Kate, Puller, and Hunter can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Phillipians 4:13

much love to you all

I wanted to share this song with you as you understand about giving thanks unto the LORD.
